Mamie Jeanne, 72 — Grandparent

Who she is​

Jeanne lives alone in a small town, 200km from her daughter Sophie's family. She has a tablet that her grandchildren gave her for Christmas. She can use WhatsApp (barely) and gets confused by most apps. She loves her grandchildren but feels increasingly disconnected from their daily lives. She forgets appointments and sometimes takes her medication late.

Her day before Morphee​

  • Morning: Wakes up, can't remember if she took her blood pressure pill. Looks at the pill organizer — was that for today or yesterday?
  • Afternoon: Wants to call Emma for her birthday but isn't sure if she's at school. Doesn't want to bother Sophie by texting to ask.
  • Evening: Misses the family video call because she forgot it was moved to 7pm instead of 6pm. Feels terrible about it.
  • Weekend: Wants to send a recipe to Sophie but doesn't know how to share it digitally. The recipe is in a handwritten notebook.

Morphee: "Oui, elle vient de rentrer de l'école.

Jeanne: "Oui s'il te plaît"
Morphee: "Message envoyé à Emma: 'Mamie veut t'appeler!'
  Elle a répondu avec un ❤️"

Jeanne: "J'ai une recette de gâteau au chocolat pour Sophie,
  c'est celle de ma mère"
Morphee: "Dictez-la moi, je la note et je l'envoie à Sophie."
Jeanne: "Alors il faut 200 grammes de chocolat..."

  "Voilà! Je l'ai sauvegardée dans la mémoire familiale
