Clara, 22 — Au Pair
Who she is
Clara is a Spanish au pair living with the Martin family in Lyon. She arrived three weeks ago and is still learning the house rhythms — which kid has which allergy, what time everyone gets home, where things are, which neighbor has the spare key. She speaks decent French but sometimes misses nuances. She's responsible for the kids after school.
Her day before Morphee
- Morning: Did Lucas eat before leaving? She can't remember if he's allowed cereal on weekdays or just weekends. Doesn't want to bother Sophie at work to ask.
- Afternoon: Picks up the kids, Lucas says he's hungry. She's not sure what snacks he's allowed (his nut allergy — does that include almonds?).
- Evening: Tries to cook dinner but can't find the spices. Where did Sophie say the family meal plan was?
- Emergency: Lucas trips and scrapes his knee badly. Where are the first aid supplies? What's the pediatrician's number?
Her day with Morphee
[Morning, 7:30]
Clara: "Is Lucas allowed cereal on weekdays?"
Morphee: "Yes, but only the ones without nuts — the Chocapic is fine,
the granola is NOT (contains almonds, he's allergic).
His EpiPen is in the kitchen drawer next to the fridge."
[Afternoon, 16:15]
Clara: "Lucas wants a snack, what's safe?"
Morphee: "Safe snacks for Lucas (nut allergy):
- Fruit (apples, bananas in the fruit bowl)
- Chocapic cereal
- Yogurt (any flavor)
- Crackers (the blue box, NOT the green one — green has traces of nuts)
⚠️ Always check labels. When in doubt, fruit is safest."
[Evening, 18:00]
Clara: "What's for dinner tonight?"
Morphee: "Tonight's plan: pasta with tomato sauce and salad.
Sophie left the sauce in the fridge (glass container, second shelf).
Pasta is in the pantry, top shelf left.
Emma doesn't like olives — leave them on the side."
[Emergency]
Clara: "Lucas fell and his knee is bleeding a lot"
Morphee: "First aid kit is in the bathroom cabinet, top shelf.
1. Clean the wound with water
2. Apply antiseptic (the orange bottle in the kit)
3. Use a large bandage
If the bleeding doesn't stop in 10 minutes or he's in a lot of pain:
📞 Dr. Mercier (pediatrician): 04 72 XX XX XX
📞 Sophie (mom): 06 XX XX XX XX
📞 Emergency: 15 (SAMU)
Should I call Sophie now?"

Why it works for her
Clara is in a new country, in a new family, speaking a second language. She needs to absorb weeks of family knowledge in days. Morphee is like the family's collective memory that she can query any time without feeling embarrassed about asking again.
For the parents: peace of mind. They know Clara can instantly access critical information (allergies, emergency contacts, house rules) even when they're not reachable. And when they update something, Clara's Morphee knows immediately.
The key insight: Morphee didn't need Clara to set anything up. Sophie (the mom) already had all this information in her Spaces. When Clara joined the family Group, she got access to the shared knowledge automatically.
